As above really.
Just destroyed the 2.2 trail king that was on there. Has to be fit and forget. Using it on exmoor and quantocks style stuff mostly so more rocks than roots
I've tried the following:-
Hans dampf 2.25 trailstar - pretty good, lots of grip, tough enough for the very rocky trails, although the knobs can get ripped off a bit too easily, but its never let me down, A bit slow rolling though, not too heavy.
Maxxis ardent race exo - Noticeably less grip than the hans dampf especially straight line braking traction, very fast rolling though, but not tough enough, ripped holes in it very quicky. No good for the rocky trails I ride.
Have just ordered a specialized slaughter - hoping for it to be as fast rolling as the maxxis ardent race, but as tough (or tougher) as the hans dampf, however it is a bit on the heavy side.
