Hello. I'm thinking of going up to Dalby early next week. Does anyone know what state it's in at the mo. The weekends forecast is wet again, so what I'm asking is is it worth the trip?

Gisburn is my back up plan but will that be just as bad?

Not sure about Dalby but did Gisburn in the rain last week, plenty of standing water in places but otherwise not bad. Lots of wet roots to test your skill!

We rode this in the 'great wetness' of a few weeks ago. It's our local trail centre, so we ride it a lot, and it was in the worst condition it's been for a while. Whilst the trail is still uber fun, because it's on sand chains dried out really quickly, and one mate ended his ride by snapping a chain then dislocating a thumb. However, the trail above the jump park is in much better condition-it is not ridden as much and is therefore not as rutted out, and the open parts on the back end do dry out quickly in the wind.

Oh, and another thing. What are the local campsites like at the mo?

Been today did red. Pleasantly surprised. mostly dry well drained, damp in trees with the odd splash pool. My shorts/camel back came back clean with only splashes on legs. Bike wiped clean...
