Do you have problems with your tyres burping when running your tubless tyres at low pressure? Well I thought it may be useful for me to pass on a very simple cure that I have been using that seems to have totally solved the problem:-

For each tyre I dissolve 1 X Alka-Seltzer in a very small glass of water and add it to the tubeless latex solution. You can either do this at the time of fitting yout tyre or remove your tubeless valve core and pour it into the tyre; replace the core and spin the wheel half a dozen times so that it mixes well with your existing latex. Job done; it seems to have solved all the burping issues that I used to have.

Gaviscon, Immodioum and Rennies etc. etc. definately do not do the same job; I believe that it may be something to do with the fizz that you get with Alka-Seltza. I don't know exactly but maybe Bi-Carbonate of Soda may do the trick also; certainly it's worth a try.

Has anyone tried a herbal alternative ? I bet Alkli Selzer adds to global warming by releasing CO2.
