I have been looking at a Cube Reaction GTC 29 frame. The frame is bare and it needs a head set. The bearings seem to just be an interference fit into the frame which has molded cups.
Cube seem to specify an FSA Orbit cube edition headset.....with the following spec...
Size:upper: 1-1/8" / 36°x45°lower: 1,5" / 36°x45°OD headtubeupper: IS 40mmlower: IS 52mm
This headset is about £55 for what seems not very much....
Is there anything else that will fit?

Check the upper standard, I don't even think IS40 is a thing?
There are other options but all similar money, lower bearing on my cane creek is52 is £25 a go, upper similar.
Thanks Nick...i have checked and that was what i was told...i guess i could measure....if the bearings are that much then it makes the headset seem reasonable.
Its def a 'cube' part....grrr
