anyone bought one of these?

I mean this specific one rather than a Park Tools one which looks to be £100 more....
I've got something similar, Ice Toolz I think mine is, works OK on most, not a patch on the Park one, but at the price of it, it shouldn't be!
That one in your link looks expensive though.
I have something like this Linky and it works a treat
Lakes-that's the headset remover, not the crown race remover, different tool for a different job. He wants one to pull the crown race off the forks.
looks very similar to this link, can't remember which size you need, so don't go clicking buy without checking.
Mleh, unless you plan on changing crown races every couple of weeks, I can't see how it'd earn it's keep.
big blunt flat headed screwdriver, rag, soft faced mallet, gently tappity-tap around the edge, takes 2 minutes.

got one of these.
Screwdriver has always worked for me too. But I suppose you need some level of mechanical sympathy and thought to operate it, which not everyone has.
I use this one, even cheaper than Ebay:

Works a treat.
Gnnr - is that the very one you have? £3.31 seems ridiculously cheap!
Roo - Liking the look of that one, cheers.
that one from manchester tools is £3.31 but its £5.50 postage
bearing splitter is a good call
Group order on those £3.31 ones ?
Put me down

Been meaning to get hold of one of these for a while.
How exactly do they work? Tighten under the crown race and then hit with a big hammer?
Never bothered - after a while bough decent headsets with split crown races - solves the problem 🙂
Edit: but for that price seems good value 🙂
dt - they appear to be wedges - tighten them an it forces the wedge under the race
i posted a similar question recently and someone recommended getting a stanley blade and tapping it under the crown race to get a small gap
then i used something similar to the wedge one above and it worked a treat. i used it along with a 'puller' similar to removing car brake discs
why don't more manufacturers just put a little notch somewhere to get it started? i had some Marzocchis with this and it made life much easier
Screw driver has always worked fine for me too.
If your race isn't split, just hacksaw a slot into it. Et volia, split race, no more issues. Even donme it to my CK race, works just fine.
They're just bikes, not space planes.

you just keep evenly tightening the nuts up, and the wedge part of the splitter goes between the parts to be split
