what is the latest opinion on the best deals?

need a helmet light/ quick on off commuter light for work.

still very happy with the coke can model fro a year ago, but a faff for shorter journeys

I'll probably be getting a MTB batteries light for really dark stuff and use a deal extreme torch for extra visibility on the bike.

I got a mtb batteries v2 last week. Just back from testing it on a non stop west highland way epic. The build quality is great, very well sealed and kept working through constant pissing rain. The claimed run times seem real. The light makes my 2 year old hope v2 look pathetic! It comes with bar or helmet mounts.

Tomd - get Trout to upgrade your Vision2. He did mine last winter, you will be impressed.

Thanks for the tip may well do that. The issue with the v2 isn't just brightness it has a very tight beam. I guess upgraded it would be a great helmet light.
