If I send goods back to CRC, do I get what I paid back, or the current selling price of the good?

CRC are brilliant when it comes to returning stuff. I bought an XT cassette few months ago, after about 800km the pins on the middle spider fell out, leaving the cogs not attached to the cassette... One email to them with a photo - few hours later I had a reply that they were sending me a new cassette, without a need for me to send the old back to them!
Few days ago the new cassette did exactly the same thing (well, the pins were just about to give up). Emailed them again... This time with no hassle they sent me the money back! Full price, what I paid for it before the sale they've got at the moment! Happy days 😉
So you'll get what you paid for them, for sure!
Always found them top notch on returns, no nonsense.

I returned a couple of things from when codes stacked last month (12 and 5 quid was it?)
Got refunded for the value of the items before discount was applied
