Well having run CB pedals for at least a decade my newest set (2years old) disassembled themselves on a ride.
Contacted Crank Bros on Facebook last Saturday and a new set arrived foc yesterday from california (8 days later). All they saw was one photo and only asked for address to send new ones to.
So well done Crank Bros great customer service.
UPS on the other hand, not so good.
To be fair with the reputation that some Crank Bros products have their CS should be good......................... they get plenty of practice.
The stuff may be made of swiss cheese but have to say they've been good in the past, or rather when it was via 2pure in UK. Similarly, sent photo of knackered freehub. New one immediately in the post (via LBS, so no UPS hassles). I've heard of people snapping spokes and they just sent replacement plus spares for free.
So can I send them all the shite eggbeaters that died when I was daft enough to use them ?
That's excellent customer service.
They do seem to be trying harder now.
