As above, I need to buy a couple of crank arms, square taper, with the non drive side offset by about 25mm(not , can you buy such a thing thing these days?

If so, anywhere online you can see?

Also, that would take the Qfactor up to above 190mm(to the insides of the cranks), you think that would be too much, can you get a slight negative offset on the drive side? say -5mm(or is that just silly?), and a 20mm offset on the non drive to bring it into 180mm?

Currently sitting about 165mm at the moment, which does feel I bit narrow I think.

You mean the LH crank sits 25mm further out at the pedal?

Never heard of such a thing, or any current BB that would achieve the same result (some ofl cartridge ones allowed you to move the axle left to right, about 30 years ago, and in lengths appropriate to that time).

No suggestions but I'm really intrigued as to why.

aye 25mm further out.

As for why, fitted on of those bafang motors, but it's designed for a 68mm bb, fits on a 73mm, but as you can see I need to make some adjustments to it. pedal line is offset because of the 68mm different, and because I'd to use a 5mm spacer on the drive side to to get it to clear the chain stay.

ps my numbers might be slightly out there btw, I only roughly eyeballed it. I'll measure properly later.

these promise a significant offset - I've not looked further but there may be other suppliers.

Cheers, yeah, bit much that though, 45mm offset! Can see one here which is 30mm.ย  https://lunacycle.com/parts/bafang-parts/bbshd-parts/bbsxx-offset-crank-arm-left-or-right/

but if I'm buying might as well get correct, I'm sure google will popup something.

Guess the other option is a pedal with an offset.

hmm. I think i'll need to measure this properly think I'm eyeballing is way out.

in theory I should only need either and 8 or 10mm offset. I'll need to measure the spacer I put in the drive side to clear the chainstay, was either a 3mm or a 5mm. But (73-68)+(3or5)= 8 to 10mm.

How about one of the old E-type Square taper BBs?

they were designedย with someย offset on the Drive side with a BB/chain guide mounting plate clamped to the cup, but if bottomed out on the RH side you get some axle offset on the non-drive side...

Aye it's crank arms or pedals I need, the BB is built into the bafang unit, can't change that.

Found some pedal extenders. Is 20mm too much?

Just spotted some 15mm ones on eBay too. Item 152963866081
