I'm looking to hold a race in woodland (approved by FC) One of the basic things we all take for granted is course marking tape! Anyone know where i can get course marking tape from? I tried to find Madison UK (Shimano) but got nowhere (website down?)

Unless you want something specifically bike branded / related, do a search for 'barrier tape'

I can get plain white or red tape. but that is tends to be used for more important things nowadays (mine marking!)

I use miles of the stuff for motorcycle events. From long and bitter experience. Go to Jewsons etc and get theirs. It tends to be the cheapest and the most fragile. You may think that this is not a good thing but when you are taking it down its saves hours. On the whole it won't be broken but if you have an open windy spot with thorns about it mighjt do. Or uselss riders may try to ride through it , but on the whole it will stay.
Cheap stuff also doesn't make you want to save it. I have tried to keep maybe 20k of the damn stuff. Don't bother.
