[Closed] Couple of questions re Sram X-0 Rear Mech

My brother has ripped his Sram X-O 9speed rear mech from his bike.

The hanger has snapped clean in half, and the rear mech is in two bits, but it all looks straight.

The parts that are seperated are the jockey wheels and guide and the other is the parallel body. There is a big spring and what looks like a rivet.

There doesn't seem to be anything broken, so anyone know if these parts can be put back together?

If the rear mech is wrecked, a quick google shows them to be very expensive. Are there any other mechs that will work as a cheaper replacement?

Thanks

M

Looks like the mech has been ripped off because the jockey wheels have seized - anyone else had this?

bump for the morning crew.

Looks like I can't use a shimano rear mech with the Sram shifters. Do I have to use an X-0 rear mech, or will an X-9 mech work for example?

Much difference in performance between the 2?

(9speed by the way)

You can used an X9 - not that much difference in performance only weight.
