I did debate which thread to put it in. Will the world end now? Is it really bike thread? It's a brief note about a person I sort of know.

I've now self censured what I was going to write about Mr Alker & Ms Bradbury.

Aren't I good (and I suspect that it wasn't really all that risque)?

I saw that, I knew it wasn't someone completely random, but didn't know what Mark 'Resident Grumpy' Alker looked like
was he on a Nicolai?

Giggled at his disregard to his own safety when passing by the horse.

Elaine - I wonder if that wool is so different to Merino. Just think how ace it would be to have a British made top made from British grown wool?

That rhubarb looked nice. It's bloomin expensive in the shops but then if there are only 22 producers I don't suppose it is that surprising. I used to love eating fresh picked rhubarb out of the garden with some sugar in the corner of a paper bag when I was a kid. A lot of people here (the Potteries) used to grow some in the garden. Enough for a few rhubarb tarts over the winter. Up there with Pineapple as my fave fruit (though they called it veg and we do actually eat the stalk so I suppose it isn't fruit).

Didn't the filming of the MTL get mentioned on here last year when it was made?

A shame that they didn't use the item to draw parallels between cyclists and equestrians, but then I don't suppose that is in the programs remit? A shame really as surely it is in the interests of all country users to promote harmony rather than discord.
