Hi,

My freewheel/freehub(?) sounds and feels like it's full of grit when I slowly back-pedal.

I'll try to take it apart and clean it up, but might look to replace it.

As far as I know it's Cotic's own brand (CC) as I got the bike built up by them.

It's on a disc compatible hub, and setup as a singlespeed.

Anyone know of a compatible replacement for it? I'm not looking to replace the whole hub, just the freehub body part.

Cheers

Nick

Nick, we carry spares. Get in touch and we'll sort you out. Could be worth a clean first though. Put an allen key in the disc side, then cone spanner on the drive side cap and you'll be able to unscrew the cap and pull the cassette body off. Give it a squirt/clean/grease and see if that helps? Dead easy to do. If you're still struggling, like I say, we have plenty of spares.

Screw on single speed freewheel (like on a BMX) or a single sprocket on a 9speed freehub?
