Just wondering how are owners of duck egg Cotic frames finding the paint washes up?

Just had a new Solaris arrive and I'm not sure how the matt finish will stand up to winter mud.

Looking at it, I'm not sure if it will take to heli taping either?

Out of interest why do you think there may be an issue with heli taping?

because the paint is very matt, I'm not sure how great it would look adhered to it unless there is a matt finish option heli tape maybe?

I wondered about this also.

Has anyone heli-taped their matt frames with pics?

I did my Carbon 456 matt in matt tape and looks fine. No piccies sadly now, maybe later.

A couple of mates have matt heli taped their bikes. Mindmap3 has done his Banshee Rune, I'm not sure if he has posted pics of it tho. And another mate has had his Tallboy C done. Both of them had it done by a company in shropshire (IIRC) but I can't remember the name. it looks great and from a couple of feet away you can't tell its there.
