'Evening chaps,

I have a pair of Formula wheels taken off a complete and would like to put them onto a spare frame.

The current spacing of the Formula hubs is 15x100mm front, 12x142mm thru axle rear.
The intended frame and forks they'd be going on is standard 9x100mm / 10x135mm.

Can you get spare axles or conversion kits to make it work with traditional spaced chassis?

Any pointers or links would be most appreciated ๐Ÿ™‚

Cheers

and a Sun Ringle converter from CRC would suit your rear.

Thanks guys ๐Ÿ™‚

Is that Nukeproof axle threaded at the ends to accept some small axle bolts? Much prefer this to a QR!

Just to be sure would the rear Sun Ringle conversion axle work fine with the 142mm spaced 12mm Formula hub? I have a hunch that the hub disc tabs might be out of alignment for a 135mm frame, can anyone confirm this?

Not sure on your hubs but things like the Hope ProII is exactly the same hub body and disc spacing for the 135/142 variants, you should also have some room to shim the brake caliper in and out as required.
