2.2 or 2.4 for general trail riding? I see the 2.2's really turn out to be 1.95's so what are the 2.4's like?

The 2.4 folders seem pretty big to me, certainly seem bigger than +.2 over the 2.2's

I run 2.2 UST mountain kings and have been Lakes, Peak District And Coed-y Brenin with them and they have been fantastic at all times.....A bit sticky in the mud though but great for rocky terrain.....

2.4 both. They're bigger than some Bontrager ACX 2.3's and the same as WTB Moto Raptor 2.4's.

I can get my tape measure out but they volume will vary depending on your rims!

I think they're a little small for their nominal size - quite tall and round too. I haven't fallen out with mine, but I won't be getting another set either…

Anyone know how they would compare to some Ardents? As I already have the MK Protection 2.2's 🙂

The 2.4" seems to be on a par with the Ardent 2.25" (at least, on my rims).

Like cozmobozo, I run 2.4" F / 2.2" R, a very good combo on fairly rocky stuff (trail centres / Exmoor / Qs).
