Anyone running Conti GP5000 Tubeless tyres in 28mm?

I’m thinking about putting these on one of my bikes and wonder what people think? It either this or go for the non tubeless 5000s or a set of 4000s (I have 4000s 25s on another bike).

Currently have Conti Four Season 28 on the bike I’m thinking about putting the 5000 on. (the 4 Seasons are pretty slow).

Thoughts please.

Not run 5000s but I have run four seasons, awful ride, and now 4000s nice but were very hard to mount. I’ve also run Schwalbe Ones and Vitoria Corsa Speeds both tubeless and tubed.

I doubt there will be much improvement from nontubeless 4000 to 5000, but I did like the ride and speed of tubeless. So I’d say go for the tubeless 5000s or another brand. And ditch the four seasons. Can you tell I didn’t like them. And I raced them a few times to try and give them the benefit of the doubt!

A friend was banging on about his 5000s tubeless 25’s. He likes a lot.

early reviews describe them as very fast rolling but quite prone to cuts / slashes. more of a good weather tyre I think

Wondering about the same thing in 25mm, but I think I’m waiting for the discounters to kick in.
It was a “that’s as much as a mountain bike tyre” moment.

Agreed - nearly fell off my perch! Annoyingly I'm going to need new tyres in the next month or so, might need to have a plan B in place (likely just using an old set of GP4000s + tubes).

I’ve just put a set of 32mm TL on my road bike to replace 28mm pro ones. I’ve only had a quick blast to shake up the tubeless liquid, but so far they feel ace. They’re not as wide as Schwalbe tyres, measuring 31.3mm on my 21mm ID rims (the pro ones measured 29.8mm on same rims). Bike discount have more reasonable prices (£45) than I could find in UK, still expensive tho.
