Are the 2.4 x 26 as massive as the RQ used to be? Any bigger than a 2.4 Chunky Monkey? I've read conflicting reports

2.4" is a big (and tall) as its ever been. However, going 650b means I've had to leave behind the ust sidewall for the protection apex version. Two sidewalls in as many months (4 or 5 rides) tells me they're nowhere near as tough as they used to be.

No problems with the Apex Protection sidewalls on Trail Kings nor Barons here - noticeable improvement over old Protection versions for me.
Trail King is still big - nominally the same as Baron and Der Kaiser, but substantially bigger in reality.
