I know... a what tyre question and I'm gonna be surprised if I get one response from you lot. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Anyway, looking for something which is low drag and good in wetter conditions. Only had a 27.5 bike for 6 months so want to make sure I don't miss out on a key options.

Have had a purgatory in the past and it was OK but wondering what else is out there and everyone is running.

I keep coming back to Trail Kings (TAFKARQs) of the 2.2 black chili protection/UST variety. As large volume as the MK2 2.4, similar drag, stickier compound, better driving/braking, very predictable cornering behaviour (as long as you lean them enough when it's muddy).

Been looking at the Baron's for my Freeride bike but waiting for the 2.4's to come out in Dec.

Might try the vigilante although I've been tempted by a Spesh BUtcher/Purgatory combo. DO like the look though

RQ - FTW!

Cheers

Got a trail King 2.2 rear but only because Barons aren't available yet in 27.5. was hard to seal tubeless but got there in the end. Needs to be run at low pressure as the casing is stiff
