Wife was stuck with limited money and hungry small boy. All requests for half size sausage sandwich met with blank faces and refusal to deviate from standard price list. Situation only saved by pound donation from the next person in the queue. The very best and the very worst of Mayhem side by side!

Event caterers in my experience are a bunch of muppets. One at a certain event that I did recently refused to cook up some bacon rolls for me as it wasnt breakfast time.

First thing Friday am, asked for a sausage sarnie. Bloke serving had obviously just started and had no experience at all. Man handled the bap, used his fingers to hold the sausage whilst he cut it then just handed me the bap. His hands were filthy. Whilst eating it i watched him sneeze about 6 times into his hands/over the cakes before wiping his hands on his jumper, he then went on to handle more food without washing them!
This year was the first year i hadn't taken any food with me as i always end up just eating in the cafe and taking all my food back home...How i regretted that this year!
Bring back Wilfs!

Did you mention this to anyone at the time? His supervisor possibly?
I'm sure they would have dealt with the matter there and then.

I bet that's not the first time Houns has had a dirty sausage in his mouth. 😉

The bake potato I had on Friday was awful (hard) and the fork snapped putting a nice red veggie chilli stain down my work top for the duration of the weekend. So from then on I just ate veggie curry from the thai place all weekend.

This thread went downhill at the mention of sausages in a metaphorical context!
