[Closed] Commute route into central London from Bromley?

Somewhat strangely I find myself in need of a commute route into the City (St Paul's-ish) from round about Bromley one morning next week.

Can anyone suggest a pleasant enough way to go? I usually get about by tube when in That London, so the streets are a bit of a mystery to me and knowing my luck I'd pick a roaring dual carriageway to ride along, having failed to spot an idyllic leafy cycle lane 20 yards away.

Oh yeah, and I'll be riding my time trial bike(!) so should be in with a good shout of being the day's Most Inappropriate Commuter.
