so would the large have the attachment on the seat tube? or would that be the xl?

I know the old 2007 had the shock mount on the seat tube for the large and xl, small and medium on the top tube.

My 2010 L meta 6 shock mounts on the seat tube.
So S M mounts on top tube, L XL seat tube.

No, same linkage, same shock. Just bolted on the frame with a different bracket. Shock still sits in the same place whatever size the bike is.
