Really simple inquiry
Rockshox coil spring repaint would powered coating have a detrimental affect on the metal as boxer red isnt my preferred choice.

I wouldnt think so, and in fact i think springs are powder coated rather than just paint.
BITD I repainted a spring, and used primer and top coat of hammerite stuff and it just flaked off. The finish that was on it was like a plasticoat type of thing.
