I’ve ordered an Outsider Bikes Missing Link for my Hightower so I will need to get a new metric shock. I’ve spoken to TF Tuned and they recommend either an Öhlins or Cane Creek coil shock. I’m just wondering if anyone has any experience of a coil shock on this bike. Any good?

A guy I ride with runs one of those ext storia could on his Hightower lt. he absolutely loves it

Cane Creek IL coil if you are bothered about weight. Its a great little shock.

The EXT is light as well. Crazy light for a piggback shock.
