Hi, along with Lafarge Helwith Bridge Duathlon in October, VLA Events is proud to point out the other race we organise.
The Coed Y Brenin Off Road Duathlon
3k Trail - 18k Mountain Bike - 3k Trail
After five years based at the old centre we are now moving over to the Visitor centre! With A NEW COURSE
A tougher slightly shorter run route (still tough), one lap on the mountain bike. This is slighly less than at 18K but tougher on the climbs/desents, including two Black routes and two fast descents on fire road as well as 'Rocky Horror Show', a 1.5K singletrack descent.
Entry form and on line entry to Follow once permission is finalised.
This new route is dependant on any building work that may be planned at the Visitor Centre. If this is so, we will revert back to the course as used last year and this description will be changed accordingley.
Monies go to the local Rotary Club (Mawddach) and Wales Air Ambulance.
For full route information visit the website.

Keep it bookmarked!

Hope it's a good event. Was heading to CyB this weekend. Will all the trails still be open as usual for those not taking part...?

Just so people know, the building work is not happening until the new year so new course will be used! ๐Ÿ˜€

Vince, I am just trying to persuade a couple of mates to do it. Hope to get our entries in soon, all being well.

Well done sparkle! There are two of you! Numbers are low ๐Ÿ™ so those wanting to bag a category prize from the list of entries and the honour of being first on the new course, here is your chance! ๐Ÿ˜€

For those who did the Lafarge Helwith Bridge Duathlon, I have now found my massive stash of safety pins! Having just bought a new load more. Don't forget it costs more to enter on the day and relay teams accepted!

This may very well be the last showing of this race due to poor entry numbers! ๐Ÿ˜ฏ ๐Ÿ˜ฅ

Have had a few more entries but could still have more to compete. Would be lonely out in those Welsh hills with only 40 competitors!
