Great pics - I hadn't heard of this particular C2C route before - did you incorporate any of Dalby forest in to it?

What route did you use? is it a marked one or something of your own creation?

Fantastic isn't it.

Still the best week I've ever spent on a mountain bike when we did it a few years ago.

Twas mainly the Woodcock route but we had to divert and come back to civilisation a few times once after stopping for a pint at Tan Hill pub but we did retrace our steps in the morning and do the offroad route to Reeth by mistake as the Garmin took us back to where we left the route we did not realise untill we saw a sign for Reeth 4 miles after an after 2 hours of riding 8O.
Diverted after weather, mechanicals forced us off the NY Moors @ 9pm and headed to Castleton for a beer and a road ride to Glaisdale ๐Ÿ˜•
Tan hill pub was class as we walked in the barmaid looked us up and down and said "serve yourself" ist pint I have ever pulled!

Good effort, looks like a right blast.

Did I spot of picture of The Boot Inn in Eskdale? Seems a bit of detour off the usual route.

Great stuff! and thanks for sharing. My memories have faded since I did the St Bees to RHB c2c 10 years since. Our big epic was the 3rd day (of 4) from Shap to Osmotherly! Such a reward when done though.
