What do people wear? I lost my dhb efforts on a very windy moor today somewhere near Hexham. I'm looking for cheap above all else as I seem to lose or break glasses fairly regularly.

I wear these at work and they seem to fit the bill as well as being very cheap

Anybody else wear normal safety glasses or have any to recommend?

Bolle do some very fine safety glasses, I've got a few pairs myself. Something like these on eBay. Think I bought off that seller last time.

Ive got some Specialized Adaptalite glasses on eBay. Starting bid £0.99.

They're superb as when its sunny they turn into sunglasses but when you hit the woods they clear so you dont end up arse over tit on roots!

Heres the link: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&item=140307732891

I also have another pair in blue and two pairs in silver. If anyone is interested let me know. The RRP is £80 but I'll happily get you them £55 plus first class post. Or you can just bid...

Cheers

Stu

*thought Id mention also that the lenses are made of shaterproof material so a couple of drops wouldn't ruin them.

have used saftey onrs off ebay see above link, they do scratch easily thought but are so cheap its not really an issue. If you have the cash buy the spesh adaptatite ones cos they are really versatile.

I always break stuff so I use DHB with interchangable lens like clear, blue or yello or black (UV rated as too cheap witll do more damage)

So far so good.

I do have some Oakleys with UV for driving or m/bike with my prescription lenes. Great for racket sports or odd bike ride.

Last time I didn't wear any cycling to work and hit a big fluffy bumble bee at speed-bloodyt hurt like hell! thud! slapped in the eye.

Use anything to protect your eyes as long as they don't increase UV or sun damage.

Plenty of different types on Buck&Hickman's website, a few of my mates using Roebuck Ice model with no problem. Make sure you go for rubber nose and earpieces, more comfy, less slippage.
