Just bought a carbon road bike and wondering how to clean it, can I wax it with car polish or do I need a specialist carbon cleaner?

I use water and a brush. If it's really bad I might put a light spray of whatever I have handy on the brush.

Why would you want to wax a bike frame?

Water and brush? Muc Off or similar for grime on wheels, drivetrain etc.

Why any different to a metal bike?
