City bike for teenage daughter?

My soon to be 15 year old daughter has always had her brother's bikes as he grows out if them, but now it's time for her to get her first new bike. For school, work commute, family rides, very occasional light touring. Any recommendations or one's to avoid? Budget not fixed but <£700 ideally.

Any better than this Boardman? https://www.halfords.com/bikes/hybrid-bikes/boardman-hyb-8.8-womens-hybrid-bike-2021---s-m-l-frames-390326.html?recType=OCWOTBRec

Thanks, as ever!

Bargain Sirrus in the light blue colour if she's XXS or XS.

The Boardman is a good bike, I have it on my shortlist along with a trek fx  (700c wheels) and a trek dual sport (27.5] as the local bike shop sells the trek.
