planning a trip down to Sicily in the van for December-Jan.
will mooch our way down visiting Florence/Rome/Naples and then spend 10-14 days on the island with our bikes in tow and then work our way up the other side of the Boot on our way back.
any experiences of riding on Sicily? guessing at 3000+m there must be some riding to be had.
supposedly wild camping isn't much of a problem there, especially in winter.
what to do?
