Hands up. I don't get it. USED CK's tend to go for £50 or c.£50 posted on STW.

You can buy them new posted for only £34 more.

For such a little amount- relatively speaking I'd rather buy a brand bloody spanking new one for £84.

Is it just me?!!

When something lasts so well, why not just save the £34?

Because let's face it, King isn't just about the quality, to some extent it's about the name too. If you could have a Hope headset or a King one for a similar price, some people would go for the King (not me, I should point out).

And then as PP says, if the quality's so high, whether it's secondhand shouldn't actually make too much difference in the long run.

Well, it will, as headset life depends on them being fitted squarely and not ran loose.

I like 'em becasue they last forever and I kill other headsets quickly. Last one I bought was £45, which is a bit of a bargain all things considered! 🙂

Is it that the old ones with the o-ring design are collectible now? After all King insisted it was definately the best way to go for years 😉

Why do folk on here get a bit miffed about people wanting a reasonable price for their good quality secondhand kit?

If you don't like the price, don't buy it but but please don't come on here ****in' moan about it coz nobody cares.....simple as

Nowt wrong with wanting the most but for £30 difference I'd rather have new and colour of my choice. Just a personal thing. If you are that tight then thats your business 😉

I'm not keen on the muted Sotto Voce graphics

I want to see KING in big bright letters so everyone can point and go oooooh

I admit to being the person to offend Hora for advertising a 2nd hand CK for a ludicrous sum of money....AND just to add insult to injury it was the Sotte Voce version...

I feel suitably ashamed....

Grace 😉
