Cheeky buggers must have spent most of easter building them in my yard! Not sure wether to ring the police or test ride them.

leave them. use it as a base to start your own street ride park from.

call up some local developer, get them to dump their excess earth there.
enclose the area to keep it dry and charge the kids £5/day to ride.

then you can hang out with the kids and smoke weed all day long.

this is infact an ambition of mine....

Nice one!

The kids round here having been stabbing each other during this Easter break. something like a BMX track would be fantastic.

As for involving the police; have they broken anything? Caused any real nuisance?

If not, then I don't even see this as a crime, really. Just young people being inventive and having fun. Fantastic!

Fun head:
Wow!

Sensible head:
How did they break in?
What if a pallet fell on one and their mum sued?

Wonder if you could donate old pallets/time/transport to the kids to build something somewhere more suitable?

Jamie yep here in the boro! Don't really have a propblem with it except if/when one of them hurts themselves I don't want my ass in the firing line (even though them gained entry illegally)! Would be happy to donate some pallets for them to use elsewhere tho.....

reminds me of back in the day, 11 years old, diggin with school mates in the holidays to form make shift BMX track in Peterborough, 3 years running council tore it down, 4th year they were there with diggers, movers & 3 men and asking us to make a design. I'm now 38, it is still there behind my parents house. still being used, Fan-bloody-tastic

cant see the pics but.........................

get it fenced off/torn down, as you said, your liable for it.

Phone the council, with a bit of nagging/persweison/persistance you could agree a deal where it stays on your land, but they cover it with their insurance?

I think that's awesome if it was my patch i'd do all i could to make sure it stayed viable.

This won't be kids-kids, it'll be late teens.

Maybe clean it up and leave a big chalk mark saying 'ride bmx here' on one side of the yard.

I always wondered where the BMX'ers would go after the council/developer/unknown prick drove a digger through the jumps at the woods nr Stanground.

Guess now we know 🙂

I am mightily impressed, none of our attempts with pallets look anywhere near that good!
need to find a decent stock of pallets like your yard though me thinks.

It looks well built, but not very well ridden! I would imagine they spent hours building it, then scared the shit out of themselves first time they bailed on it 😀
10/10 for trying though.
