That's two I've borked in 12 months, they always crack around the base of the cup that the sphere sits in. Anyone got one floating about in a drawer they can let me have for cheapness or where's the best place to get them online, somewhere that doesn't show up on Google search perhaps as the best I've been able to find is £22!!

Yo! I actually have one of these you could have. I cracked the bit that clips onto the light but the two cups that screw together onto the helmet are fine. Is that any good to you? Happy to post it but i'm in Norway so it might cost you a couple more £ than from the UK. Is that any good to you?
You can get Go pro style mounts for exposure, which might be more durable
