Looking to take a week somewhere for some decent proper mountain biking - that tenerife article made me think it is a good idea.
Where's the best place to go? I looked at tenerife and it's about £650 at a cursory glance, 7 night self catering, with flights. Seems a bit much.
Anything better?
Need nice scenery, warm weather (20-25C), good food!!!!
£650! be surprised if you can't find something a bit cheaper, or is this for two?
I just booked a package holiday and took bike when i went to Gran Canaria and also to Fuertaventura.
This was a couple of years ago but cost was circa £250 self catering.
yeah package holiday is what I am thinking. Thing is I work in a school so have the most restrictive holiday around - I get 12 weeks a year in which I CAN take holiday in, and still have to book it (I do not work term time only). So this obviously hikes the price right up!!!!
It was just for one. £250 sounds very cheap, flights were about that IIRC.
