I've been looking at doing something to raise money for charity and get fit at the same time. Anyhoo looking at cycling from London to Paris in 4 days and raising some cash at the same time.

My question is and I know its a personal thing but who would you raise money for . ?
My personal choice would be either .

Help for Heroes

Macmillan cancer trust
or Maggies centre.

Your views are appreciated.

Edit :Should also add if anyone knows any better cycling events let us know . A Lejog I could handle but might not be able to get the time of for more than 5 days.

Macmillan cancer trust. I think out of all the very worthy charities out there most people can relate to a cancer one. You've probably seen before but a just-giving account will make it easier for people to sponsor you.

Good on ya!

If you know someone that works for a supermarket if you ride for there charity of the year they used to match the money raised, used to, have to look into it. I know tesco support cancer research this year, im planning a cycle ride coast to coast in may next year, just need to sort the finer details then put my plan to the tesco community champion.

I did my LeJog for Blesma because of the respite care they offered to a relative, eligible due to his RAF service.
