So after finding out my Nomad is cracked after a short ownership Ive been looking at cheap replacements.
How are the Titus El Guapo V3? I have read a thread on here about a year ago which highlights QC issues and problems with BB being too low causing a rubbish ride.
Planet X have for sale slightly used El Guapo V3 frames, with and without shocks, for cheap. Why they are used I dont know but as I have a pretty new Fox shock in the right length and stroke already and I can get a frame for between £370 and £450 it seems sensible to me considering even knackered looking Nomad mk2s are going for over £500.
Is this going to be a no go or is it worth it if these are balanced and correctly built? How do they ride? Any issues with cracks, spares, bearings wearing out, etc?
