Hi,
Done a quick search for forum topics of this, didn't turn up much of a definitive answer...
Just can't justify the money for a go-pro as I fully expect to bin it.
Are the cheapo SD card camera's on eBay or DX.com worth playing around with? Seen some delightful examples of the cheapest chinese technology available for around 30-50 quid.
