You'll need to rummage but there are some excellent reductions, ie 50% off Windstopper jackets, and includes Scott clothing which is good stuff.

www.startfitness.co.uk

Another one I came across is Pearl Izumi's clearance section and again good quality products.

Hope you find it useful! 🙂

Thanks for those.

Have you tried 'sportpursuit.com'?
Seems to have a good few bargains on there.

Yes, am on their mailing list. The two links above have items at half price which I reckon is pretty good. Does that make them any cheaper than SP?

Edit: I meant to have said that the price of cycle clothing has been going through the roof. Whilst I will pay out for technical stuff, ie Gore for waterproofs, the price of some baggies and jerseys is a total rip-off.

I've seen baggies advertised at over £100!! 😯

It's getting ridiculous.

We saw some 'Muddy Fox' branded gear in Sports Direct yesterday - the quality wasn't up to much, but certainly cheap.

Decathlon or Aldi for us these days and like yourself, Gore for the luxuries.

When Ms S gets home I'll show her those links - could be very useful for Christmas.
Thanks.

had a Scott (gore windstopper) roadie gilet from start fitness down from £70 to something like £25. Scott kit is nice stuff but doesnt seem to be marketed over here (lucy of bikeverbier is a rolling advert and it is all nicely designed and well made).

Ah, Scott Windstopper gilet! Yep, got one for £20. 8) OK, not quite to Gore standard but definitely well-made.
