Not many are there? Ritte do a steel one but anyone else other than custom places?

Alternatively what plastic and ti disc cx bikes are out there? Kinesis, Planet x have 2 plastic and a ti on the way and any bike with normal bb shell could be converted to ss with a philcentric. Not an immediate plan but as a bike to tackle mtbish trails and race on I'm thinking of discs for next year. Ta

Singular Peregrine? More an all-rounder than pure CX, but a fun and versatile bike.

I'd forgotten about the day one! Not sure the peregrine is what I'd be after.

This pic caught my eye

I'd forgotten about the pomp, knew there were a few obvious ones I'd missed. I know this isn't a true ss but bet it would be fun

Well I guess if some generic catalogue chi-bon frame floats your boat it's no surprise a Peregrine doesn't.

Meow! Sorry i like the kite but the peregrine does nothing for me. When funds allow a plastic bike will be replaced by an artisan titanium thing of beauty hand welded by bearded pixies. Until then I'm after something lighter than my cross check that I like the look of, sue me ๐Ÿ˜‰

Sam, you don't have plans for a ti disc cx by any chance?

Ti CX disc would be nice but my available capital doesn't allow. More likely to see a Kite with discs next year. The quandry is twofold - firstly how to distinguish another disc, 700c drop bar frame from other similar models in the range (though judging from Font's reaction aesthetics may be sufficient). The second is that if I do it I don't want something which is both disc and rim brake compatible, and can't really afford/justify having a disc and rim braked version of the same frame.

Agreed.

I'm sure I'm in the minority re. the peregrine but the new wave of old styling just doesn't float my boat- I much prefer the look of my cross check with alpha q forks than the original forks. Similarly prefer the cielo racer to the standard cx model.

I can see the problem with differentiating similar models but perhaps in a couple years the cx disc 'issue' will have evolved as racers adopt discs across the board and a lightweight, race geometry, disc specific race model will come into its own? Leaving you with a disc monster cross, disc road/tourer/cx, canti steel cx [steel is real, cantis are pure etc] and disc ti cx [race weapon].

I don't envy you the decision trying to build a lineup.

ideally i'd like disc specific slightly sloping top tube frame with those lovely skinny steel seat stays you can have when there are no canti forces to take into account, drop the canti frames, discs are UCI legal now afterall

oh and white with the black panel Singular graffics too, please ๐Ÿ™‚

p.s. sorry for the thread hijack

Now we have stuff in common firestarter but we'll have to agree to differ on this point ๐Ÿ™‚

anyone "concerned" about the lack of meat on the brake mount of the geared dropout above?

Love the Peregrine.
Here's my Pompetamine for thee, again more of an all-rounder rather than a CX, my favourite ride for a long time.
