What do you want it for?
That picture makes the head angle look quite slack, so most likely not a "race bred" CX bike
Not racing, mainly winter commuting, operhaps with the odd blast round a trail centre
reviewed in the latest cycling plus mag.
For that, it would probably do well. But, please, lower the bars a touch - the hoods are higher than the saddle..!
V Nice, and yes charge make good bikes although this is their first foray into the CX market AFAIK
and what was the review like, or do i have to go and skulk in WHSmiths?
4/5, not great for cyclocross, more of a commuter. Cannondale CaadX won.
Looks like it would do the job of winter commuting very well indeed!
Test rode a salsa la cruz the other day - also possibly a bit slack, or that's how it felt to me.
Didn't feel very lively.
I love Charge, great brand, great bikes. I have a Plug Freestyler and a Blender...
That one looks nice.

Perhaps not a race bike but,
Chris Metcalf of team Charge Cycles rode one to a third and fourth place in the first 2 rounds of the Notts/Derby league.
Probably more due to the engine than the bike though!
Chris rides Freezer Ti cross bikes - they're most definitely race-spec. I spend a long time looking at the seatstays ๐
That would make more sense, nice looking those Freezer's. Although fair point about the motor.
From what I remember the review said it was on the heavy side. Not sure it was definately that model though.
