[Closed] Changing oil in Rock Shox Revelation diual air 2010 Lowers - instructions?

[b]Is this all i do?[/b]

[i]Undo foot nuts and pull lowers down
Drain oil
Remove and wipe round the lowers and seals
Bit of grease on the seals
Slide lowers on
15ml of 15wt oil in each leg
do bottom nuts up[/i]

Yep

Would add that you may want to slacken off the nuts and give them a tap with a rubber hammer.

Also I give the foam rings a good soak in fork oil as well as greasing the seals.

ok sounds like the same as older revs and fox (with out the faff of fox being open bath)

Yes i have just done a set soak the foam in red rum and greased the seals. I cant believe the difference and really i hate this word but hey ho "Plush"

There is a vid n the TFT site that shows you how to do it in 5 mins, I'm going to do it once I've been to the motorbike shop for oil, damned if I'm paying for 'mtb' fork oil.

Good job i did it as they were practically dry in there!! Straight form the factory - this is the first time they have been opened up!

I suspect mine are pretty much dry too, they're stiff as.

i've done mine a few times now, i found them better with 7.5wt in the damper instead of 5wt.

Is teflon grease okay for the seals? doesn't bugger the bushings does it?
