Off in June with alpine elements, anyone done it without a guide? And is there any particular gnarly line that shouldn't be missed? Cheers.

To get the best out of the place you'd be better with a guide or some very good local knowledge, without you'll struggle to find the good trails...

Don't waste your money. I used to run a boozer there and if you go to a few of the local hangouts, don't be a prat and buy some of the bar staff a couple of beers they'll put you in touch with local riders or simply take you themselves. Cham in the summer is possibly one of the best places in the world with some of the nicest people I ever had the pleasure of meeting.

the little green guide book is pretty good.

don't expect to get the kind of lift service you get in Morzine, you'll have to work for your height.

Nice one! Will look for it, we don't mind riding up, as long as lift has got us up most of way. 🙂
