Maybe a stupid question, but whats the best way to fit a single chainring to my cranks. The chainring bolts are to long.
Shorter chainring bolts?
Some sort of washer of spacer?
Is there another way?

You can use washers but it is not the tidiest way. Short bolts look better.

Shorter bolts (strictly, just the 'nuts'). Scrounge some from your LBS
