Ok bit bemused, running a external bb with saint cranks (sold for 3ring setup), i have now replaced a bb spacer with a truvativ boxguide and want to have a single ring up front.
1) why does my chainring catch on the chainstay? do i just need a smaller T ring?
2) in removing the other 2 rings, leaving a ring on the middle posts only, this means that the chainring bolts and the nuts?? the other side are too long and hence leave the chain ring loose.
Do i just need to bodge some spacers?
Should the remaining ring go on the middle posts?
I would be very gratefull for some help
