[#1865865]

Using my park chain checker the chain is worn to 1.0 (do i put the curved end in first and then the straight prong?)

I am at SITS at the weekend - do i:
a/ leave it
b/change cassette and chain just in case?

It'll be absolutely fine, if I go by those Park checkers most of my chains are at 1.0 after a couple of months, I keep them for a year with no ill effects!

if its not skipping, don't worry! the chain on my XC bike is off the scale on a chain checker, doesn't skip.

Just chain checkers as a rough guide. Once the chain checker says it's there, measure it over a good distance with a steel rule and see if its stretched 5% or more. If not, you'd get away with a new chain.
