Hello

i need a oil, for winter-riding, here in denmark we have a lot of rain, temp about zero( last year, a lot colder) but worst they salt the roads like crazy here.

Tried :
finish line green and red
squirt
pedros synlube
rohloff

the most succes was with
finish line krytech and

german dynamic (test winner in bike) good for rain, and tougher conditions(but gets rather blackish...)

but my favorite, is chain-l(usa-made), super long lasting, and does not attract much dirt, if it get wiped down regulary, but for some reason, it does not work to well a colder, salty, conditions...

was thinking about purple-exstreme, it seems dry, and longer lasting, from the reviews, but any advice would be nice, i dont mind, lubing often, and wiping down, as long the drivetrain is rather clean, running nice.

Thannnnnxxx

I wanted to try some Rock n Roll extreme but it seems to be discontinued in the UK now ๐Ÿ™

If I don't find a decent wet lube soon (only have summer ones) I am going to resort to soaking my chain in old fork oil from when I service my forks.

i used white lightening dry lube, all through the scottish snow last year and it was pretty good. i needed to apply it at the start of each ride but the chain never got too dirty and black. i've also tried various other lubes and once my current lot is done i'll be back on the white lightning.

Just use something light and refresh it weekly.

I've said before that I use Mineral brake fluid applied with a soft brush. Getting massive life out of my kit.
