After a few months of middle ring only riding we're in the process of going 1 x 10 with chain guides.

I've got tabs on my Zesty but not sure what to go for on my other half's Cube Stereo. It needs a BB fit guide or possibly a stem mounted one (although I think something with a bash guard would be better out here).

Anyone use one on a Stereo or have any bb fit recommendations?

Ta in advance

Andy

My mates and i run Stereos and Fritzz's'z'z... and they take a Straitline silent guide but you need the wee e13 bb adaptor (the one that then provides you with the ISCG tabs to attach the guide to). Works well with this guide.

Cheers, I'd looked at the Straitline guide but wasn't sure how it we'd get it fitted. Will have a look round for an e13 adaptor.

EDIT

Another quick question, do you use anything to stop crud accumulating round the rear shock. With all the rain we've had Mrs MeribelMTB has a compost heap stuck to hers at the end of the day at the mo.

Its been fairly dry (unusually) since I got my Fritzz but the lads with the stereos have had them since last October and use the proper Cube mudguard - i think they are about £45 quid though.. I see me fettling with old innertubes once the weather turns trails to mush to keep the crap off the rear shock.
