Okay, this evening's issue is that I have split my 11speed shimano chain and I only have 10sp sram connectors in my kit (even found a 9sp).
Should I wait patiently and visit the lbs in the morning to buy new connectors or can I crack on and fit the 10 speed? Will it result in a ride of woe?

10spd works perfectly. I should know, I've been running a 10spd link on my 11spd setup for about a year!

10spd will work fine.

Right thing for the right job. Fit the 10sd and cycle to the lbs and fit an 11sd and buy a spare.
