I know you are important, but you don't have to completely block the entrance to the main building whilst you wait for the stragglers to arrive.
There were plenty of free tables in the bar - as you soon found out.

How do you know own he reads STW? I'd have thought the stern telling off you gave him in the bar would have done the trick anyway.

They arrived just as we crossed the road to get into the main building and congregated right in front of the door.
If I'd been a shy and retiring wall flower I might not have got inside for my veggie burger and game of pool, 👿
