I have just transferred a SunRace 11-50 cassette off some very tried 29 wheels ( evo 2 Hope hubs) to a new 27.5 wheel which is Hope Evo 4 hub. With the cassette seated on the freewheel , and it torqued up, there is noticeable free play. The outer cassette cog probably moves side to side by 1-2 mm.
I know that if you put a 10 speed block on an 11 speed hub, the you need a spacer, but this is 11 speed to an 11 speed Shimano freewheel.
Is this a Sun Race thing ( it doesn’t happen in the other wheel, a freewheel body issue, is should I just bung a space in?
And if I do use a spacer, I assume it goes on first before the cassette.
Google mention loads on cassette wobble re 11/ 10 speed issues but not this ...
Any ideas?

You need to use the spacer that comes with the Pro4. They are designed to take an 11spd road cassette whereas 11spd mtb cassettes are designed to run on a 10spd freehub.
